After a wet weekend, Clark County and the Interstate 5 corridor in Oregon and Southwest Washington can expect more of the same with the entire area under a flood watch, according to a Monday morning update from the National Weather Service in Portland.

The flood watch remains in effect through Wednesday afternoon with another atmospheric river expected to sweep through. Clark County and Southwest Washington could see as much as 2.5 inches of rain through Wednesday, with 2 to 4 inches expected in the Columbia River Gorge.

NWS said excessive runoff may result in some flooding around rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. And expect more clogged drains and flooded streets and sidewalks.
